believe it or not, Dog owners are spending more than ever on their pets,
and that is a good thing that illustrates how much we love our pets.
The nonprofit American Pet products Association said pet industry
spending this year is expected to increase 5.1% to exceed $ 50 Billion Dollars.
This follows a 6.2% jump from last year.
One industry source says that pets kinda get the same treatment as kids.
They are the last ones you want to cut back on.
Obviously companionship and love are among the top benefits of pet
ownership and increasing numbers of dog owners also cite stress relief
and exercise garnered from walking their dogs are an increasing benefit.
Obviously, people are taking care of their pets before
they take care of themselves. That is a good thing.
